Working meeting between scientists from IMI-BAS and directors of cultural institutions in Kazanlak municipality

On 19.10.2022 in the Rose Museum in Kazanlak was held a working meeting between scientists from the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at BAS and directors of cultural institutions in Kazanlak municipality on the topic.

The meeting was initiated by the Regional Academic Centre in Kazanlak, headed by Eng. Vladimir Chuchumishev from Arsenal AD and with the support of Kazanlak Municipality. Special guests were the Mayor of Kazanlak Municipality Galina Stoyanova, the directors of all cultural institutions and representatives of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Kazanlak Municipality.

The team from IMI-BAS presented their latest developments in the field of digital representation and preservation of national cultural heritage with an emphasis on the CLADA-BG developed environment for storage, retrieval and curation of data from the field of humanities and social sciences and its implementations: the Digital Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv, the Digital Library "Peyo Yavorov" - Burgas and the Digital Library "Virtual Encyclopedia of Bulgarian Iconography". The scientists also demonstrated the 3D spatial representations of the numismatic and ethnographic collections of the Regional Historical Museum-Burgas and the serious educational games "Aqua Kalide" and "The Thracians" created under the scientific program "Cultural and Historical Heritage, National Memory and Social Development".
