
Meeting of the Consortium of the Bulgarian National Interdisciplinary Research e-Infrastructure
The meeting of the Consortium of the Bulgarian National Interdisciplinary Research e-Infrastructure for Resources and Technologies in favor of the Bulgarian Language and Cultural Heritage, part of the EU infrastructures CLARIN and DARIAH.
(CLaDA-BG) will be held on July 2 and 3, 2020 in Plovdiv.
The host is the National Library "Ivan Vazov" in Plovdiv, which is a member of the Consortium.
The meeting will report on the results of the project and will discuss the upcoming tasks by the end of the year.
In addition, open talks on topics of interest to the general public will be presented. Such topics are: building of a Bulgaria-centric Knowledge Graph (semantic methodology, language technologies, neural networks, annotation software frameworks, historical perspective); OCR models for Bulgarian spelling texts before the 1945 reform; digitization of ethnographic materials; use of bibliographic databases; 3D modeling.

The meeting will be held partly in a face-to-face format, and partly in a remote format in order to comply with all the necessary anti-epidemic measures.
