PARTNERS: introduction
The National Library Ivan Vazov – Plovdiv
The National Library Ivan Vazov – Plovdiv (NLIV) is part of the CLaDA-BG project, which is integrated within the European research infrastructures CLARIN and DARIAH. The library participates as a partner providing textual resources and expertise.
NLIV provides digital content that supports technological partners in the creation of text corpora, natural language processing (NLP), and the development of generative AI models based on large language models (LLMs) for contemporary Bulgarian as well as for Bulgarian that was used before the Spelling Reform of 1945 (SR1945).
NLIV is also a user of tools and applications developed within the project. Examples include the creation of the Digital Library of NLIV (digital.libplovdiv.com) with the help of CultIs, a web-based software platform, developed by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics (IMI-BAS).
