During the meeting of the DARIAH-EU national coordinators in Nicosia, Cyprus, on November 20, 2025, Dr. Dimitar Iliev from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” presented the newly created Regional Hub for Southeast Europe, which is also the first in the new development strategy of DARIAH-EU. Dimitar, who is also co-coordinator of the hub, together with Koralka Kuzman-Slogar from the Institute of Folklore and Ethnology in Zagreb, Croatia, presented the activities of the hub. During the discussion, various national representatives offered their contacts with academic institutions in Romania, Albania, and Montenegro with proposals to expand the hub with new member states. The European research infrastructure DARIAH will readily assist in the further development of the hub in Southeast Europe.
