The CLaDA-BG team is pleased to invite you to attend the lecture of Prof. Dr Marco Passarotti from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy) Interoperability of Language Resources through Linked Open Data: The LiLa Knowledge Base for Latin at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (Geo Milev, G. Bonchev Str. bl. 2, IICT-BAS, Room 228) at 14:00h on 17.11.2026, Room 228.

ABSTRACT: This talk addresses the issue of interoperability among language resources. After introducing the principles of the Linked Open Data paradigm and its application to the representation and publication of languege resources, both lexical and textual, it describes the core architecture of LiLa, the knowledge base of interoperable resources for Latin (https://lila-erc.eu). The modeling of the different types of resources currently published in LiLa is presented in detail. Finally, the talk introduces the online services available for querying and extending LiLa, together with a series of SPARQL queries executed on the knowledge base.
