A project funded by CLARIN-ERIC to create a corpus of historical journalistic materials from the 19th century to the mid-20th century. The corpus will require OCR correction of the relevant newspapers or magazines, presented in the spelling of 1945. The corpora will be annotated with named entities. The corpora will use a uniform format and comparable metadata. Read more

The project focuses on research of the history of the city of Sofia in the period from the late 19^th century to the middle of the 20th century and subsequent innovative dissemination of the results using contemporary technologies.
