Congratulations to Prof. Petya Osenova!

Our colleague, Prof. Petya Osenova from the Department of Bulgarian Language at the Faculty of Slavic Philology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, was elected as a board member of the Global WordNet Association during the 13th International Conference, which took place last week in Pavia, Italy. This is a well-deserved recognition for her contribution to the development of language technologies and for her work on BulTreeBank-WordNet – a project developed within the framework of CLaDA-BG, which enriches Bulgarian digital language resources and enables their integration into the global WordNet community.
The Global WordNet Association is an organization that provides a platform for discussing, sharing and connecting WordNet resources for all languages in the world. Its main goal is to promote cooperation and exchange of information between professional and technical communities working on the construction or usage of WordNet resources. The organization also works to standardize these resources and make them accessible for the wider public.
We are very proud of Prof. Osenova and wish her success in her new endeavor!
